Description
- Quinoa Puff Balls or Slice
- 50g puffed brown rice cereal
- 40g dark chocolate, chopped
- 36g (1 1/2 cups) puffed quinoa
- 65g (1 cup) dessicated coconut
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp. chopped macadamia nuts.
- 115g (1/3 cup) coconut syrup
Place coconut syrup in a small saucepan over a low heat. Warm gently, and stir well until mixture comes to the boil. Working quickly, add the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Cool slightly and roll into balls, refrigerate until set.
Mixture can be pressed into a slice pan and baked at a low temperature for 30 minutes, Cool in tin and slice when cold.
Chocolate can be used as icing instead of adding to mixture.
